Jennifer Galloway Johnson was born and raised on the Westbank of New Orleans and moved to Slidell, LA during her high school years.  She watched her parents manage multiple properties while she was growing up which peaked her interest in the real estate industry from an early age.   Also a dancer from the age of 3, she opted to pursue a career in dance and opened her own dance studio a few years after graduating high school.  After 22 years of running a successful dance studio in Slidell and educating children and adults in dance, she decided to sell her studio and make a career change.  Real estate was the clear choice.  “I’ve always been a people person.  Real estate allows me to work with so many different people and educate them on the process of buying and selling,” she says. “I absolutely love being a Realtor®.” 

Jennifer has been married for 22 years to Kyle Johnson and is the proud mother of 3 beautiful children - Kylee, Brady and Lilee - and 2 miniature poodles (Furr-babies count, too).  She continues to work in the dance industry by teaching at the new studio.  She is also a member of and on the Board of Directors for Dance Teachers United (DTU) where she volunteers her time and helps other dance teachers connect and share business ideas, choreography and continue their education.
